You can expand your Shrlock workspace by adding more team members at any time. Each active user costs $10 per month, and billing adjusts automatically as your team grows or shrinks.
Adding seats gives your whole team access to manage projects, track time, and collaborate, making it easier to scale your HR consulting practice efficiently.
Steps to add additional paid seats
1. Invite a new user to your workspace
Click Settings in the left-hand menu.
Select Team Members.
Click Invite User.
Enter the new user's name and email address.
Choose their role (Admin, Consultant, or Viewer).
Click Send Invitation.
2. Confirm the seat purchase
After you send the invitation, you will be prompted to confirm payment for the new user seat.
A popup will direct you to a secure Stripe checkout.
You will create a second subscription for your member seats at $10/user per month.
This subscription is tied to your main Shrlock subscription, so you will receive one consolidated bill, either monthly or annually.
Once you confirm the subscription, the invitation will be sent, and billing will begin when the user accepts and activates their account.
Removing users and adjusting seats
To remove users and reduce your active seat count:
Go to Settings > Team Members.
Find the user you want to remove.
Click the trash icon or Remove User.
Confirm the removal.
Shrlock will automatically update your seat subscription. You will see pricing changes reflected in your next billing period.
Notes on billing and seat management
Charges begin only when users activate their account.
Seat pricing is $10/user per month, with automatic adjustments as your team changes.
No need to manually adjust seats: Shrlock tracks your active users and updates your subscription for you.
You will always receive a single invoice for both your core and seat subscriptions.
